My Story
Hi! I’m Kara, a writer, adventurer, and lover of all things fantasy.
I grew up in the Pacific Northwest, surrounded by towering forests, rugged mountains, and endless trails to explore. My love for the outdoors led me across the globe to New Zealand, where I studied and fell even more in love with wild places—whether I’m on a ski slope, hiking through misty valleys, or soaking in a quiet alpine view.
It’s no surprise that these landscapes inspire my writing. I’ve always been drawn to stories that blur the line between the natural and the magical, where hidden worlds feel just within reach. My debut book is a love letter to those kinds of stories: full of adventure, wonder, and the enduring spirit of those brave enough to chase the unknown.
When I’m not writing, you’ll find me outside (probably somewhere remote), a cup of coffee in hand, dreaming up my next story.
